Because everyone should own a maxi dress...
Well maybe not everyone... but I think they have the potential to be great. Case in point: this one, which I stumbled across at Down East Basics. (Gotta love it when they send you unwanted catalogs... except this time I'm glad I looked at it.) I purchased this dress in Heather Grey and absolutely love it. It's light and breezy, perfect for summer, yet I don't have to worry about shaving all the time. Haha. Plus, it does not wrinkle (I took a two and a half hour nap whilst sharing the couch with my husband, and there was not one wrinkle), which would make it perfect for travel.

This looks so chic and comfy. I am sure you are stunning in it. It is a perfect match for the beaches of Hawaii.
P.S. I've been reading both blogs faithfully; I've just been slacking on my comments. I love that eyelet embroidered top in yellow. So springy. And, I bought a vest last fall that I absolutely love...but haven't worn. I feel like an impostor in it. I'm just so not trendy and it so is. But it's super cute. I should pull it out and look at it again (and then put it right back in the closet. ha)
