Old Soul, New Heart

There's a little shop that I have been enjoying the past few months, called old soul, new heart. One of the things I love about it, is that it's a mother-daughter team. How fun would that be? This shop boasts beautiful belts, headbands and necklaces. Here are a few of my favorites:

Belts are my new favorite thing. The best thing about them is that there are so many varieties. From thin to thick, simple to embellished, there is something for everyone. Lately I love the look of wearing these beautiful bands around the very smallest part of my waist. There's something inherently classy and feminine about doing so... and I feel that it's a bit evocative of the glorious 30s and 40s. They are fun to play around with. Try wearing a belt as a statement piece, minimizing your jewelry, using a more conservative bag and letting the belt be the star of the show. (Besides you, of course.)
