Like it v. Love it: Statement necklaces

I love statement jewelry. Particularly necklaces, since they can't be wrenched out of an ear by a feisty toddler. And while I love the quality and detailing of J.Crew's pieces, I personally don't always find them to be budget-friendly. While its counterpart doesn't have all of the color variation and intricate beading, it still embodies the spirit and whimsy (with more of an edge) of its more expensive competition.
